My first marketing experience came from building a client base as a self-employed English language teacher. I studied marketing and stalked the competition endlessly.
In my opinion, much of today’s digital marketing feels like a broken record playing over and over. Many marketing professionals follow the same checklists and templates in an attempt to make results systematic, replicable, and scalable.
Unfortunately, the problem has only got worse with AI.
The result is that the marketing strategy functions as a mirror, confined by the same tactics as everyone else. The message that was supposed to be communicated loses its unique edge and ability to demarcate itself from the crowd. As more organisations adopt the same tools and formats, the differences between them gradually disappear.
I help my clients project their vision into something truly original that stands out in the market rather than fading into it.
